Short answer

The essentials first

Plan the day as a cohesive story with few changes of location, clear responsibilities and plenty of time around the dinner. Overnight accommodation can be included for attending guests but is never booked separately.

Let the format be an asset

A smaller wedding doesn't need to imitate a large party in miniature. Fewer guests make it possible to create a personal flow, let everyone meet, and place greater emphasis on the meal.

Start with which moments are most important: the welcome, ceremony, dinner, speeches, music or the next morning. Once these are prioritised, it becomes easier to decide what to leave out.

Create a natural flow through the venue

Use different settings for different parts of the day. A welcome near the garden can be followed by dinner at the long table and conversation in the reception rooms. The pool and sauna can be included as a separate, clearly planned wellness element.

Always have a plan that isn't dependent on the weather, and confirm the practical framework before the invitations are sent.

The dinner holds the day together

Decide early on what level of food and service is suitable. A private chef provides a personal dining experience on-site, while catering can be the right choice when the service flow and preparations need to be simplified.

Both are optional add-on services which are quoted for separately and offered subject to availability. An event planner can also help with coordination and practical details.

Overnight accommodation is linked to the wedding

Attending guests may have the option to stay overnight in conjunction with the wedding. This allows some to stay on after dinner and meet again the next morning.

This is not a standalone accommodation product. In your enquiry, the wedding's date, purpose, format and approximate number of guests must always be stated.

  • Prioritise the day's most important moments
  • Plan a clear backup solution
  • Assign responsibility for food, service and coordination
  • Outline which guests may need to stay overnight
  • Confirm timings and practical arrangements before communicating with guests
Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions

Can you book the venue just for overnight accommodation after another wedding?

No. Overnight accommodation is only offered as a complement to an event that is booked and held at the venue.

Is a private chef or catering a better fit?

It depends on the desired experience and logistics. A private chef emphasises the on-site cooking, while catering often simplifies delivery and the service plan.

Is there a fixed maximum capacity?

The number of guests and the event format need to be confirmed for each enquiry. The number of bedrooms is not used to determine the event capacity.
